so my bmi is 19.95...i just calculated that... i suffered from an eating disorder last year and this year i was almost fully recovered... that was till a girl i know started losing weight and i started this new obessesion that i had to be skinnier than her so right now i've fallen back to where i was... so im average in weight yes i know, but i havent weighed my self in 3 months, but i have gone down 1 1/2 inches this past week... what should i do... its stressing me... why cant i be perfect?

Smallest/skinniest does not equal perfection. There is such a thing as TOO skinny and its NOT attractive.

No-one can be perfect.

Set yourself a challenge to not say anything bad about yourself, in terms of weight, height or looks.

so what are you doing to lose weight?  Purging? Not eating? Exercising?  Your bmi doesn't seem worrysome at all. I really wouldn't fret about losing weight if you aren't doing it in a detrimental way to your body.

Just try to remember why you stopped and look at her in other ways--- what is better about you than her? e.g. hair, skin, smarts.

I've been there, I recently relapsed into mia because a friend has started to lose weight (she was almost my size)... I'm not going to tell you that you are better than her, or you are thin enough (because I know, you never will be) but I can remind you to remember why you want to recover.

PM me if you need to talk
