how much weight could i lose in three weeks if im already slightly overweight? what is the best way of doing this? i've heard that if you just stop eating your metabolism slows right down and you wont lose as much. what's something very low calorie that i could eat to keep my metabolism going and stop me getting as hungry? do any of the weight loss shakes/diet pills actually work (from experience)?? thanks...

eat protein. Like cut out carbs and stuff. Protein is what registers in your body that you've eaten. So eating protein means you'll be eating less. Balance it with regular exercis you could probably lose 10lbs+ in 3 weeks

Fruits are good. Sandwiches are also good. It's important to get a good balance though. Eating lots of meat will make you larger. The most fundamental point about weightloss is that your intake is less that your output. Go for walks, runs, lift some light weights when watching tv etc. When you're busy, you might find that you notice your hunger less. Sitting around for too long will also slow down your metabolism, just like not eating.

Eating sandwiches is bad. Bread in general is bad for weight loss, brown especially, there are more carbs in brown than white bread.

For some reason, sit ups works really fast for me. But that's months of doing them, not weeks.

Whole wheat bread breaks down into sugars differently than white bread. There's actually a lot less sugar and more fiber in whole wheat bread.

What I did when I was overweight (btw it doesn't matter how much you weigh on losing the weight quick or slow). I stopped eating and drank like 2litres of water every day. Diet drinks only! And for dinner veg, fruit or fish. No carbs. No sugar. No fats. And lots of exersise (I'd say at least 3hrs a week) and you'll lose lots of weight in no time :)

How do you reconcile "I stopped eating" with "so this is what I had for dinner"?
