well, it's just that uphere, any full colored bird is banned by the authorities, I think it's quite silly, but oh well.

That is a strange law.
But, in many places in the US, you can own many many types of exotics with the proper permit, and many without any permits at all.

I have owned exotics my whole life. Probably the weirdest for people is the opossum I had.
But here, budgies are about as common as cats and dogs.

Yeah, here, mostly no permits are given, you know Jens Stoltenberg pro-ecology laws and stuff.. I hate it, we can kill as many whales as we want, but when it comes to exotic pets that can be properly hold at home, oh noes, the Alt for Norge laws...
