-- Posted by kaylalynn2008 at 11:02 pm on Nov. 17, 2008 k so one of my really good friends from california was reported missing yesterday morning and found today... adam is great guy, never been out to offend anyone, but somehow ends up being the victim of a gang beating... this particular gang chose him as a victim because they hate "emo kids" and adam chooses to dress like a typical emo does. seven gang members took him and his truck to a warehouse, tied him up (arms tied to the ceiling, legs to the floor against the wall), beat the living fuck out of him, sliced up his arms and legs, wrote profanities on him, whipped the hell out of his back, kicked him as hard as they could in his throat, and left him for dead.   he was extremely lucky to have been found ALIVE. he's in the hospital now, scared out of his fucking mind. they caught 2 of the guys.. one was ratted out, and another went back to the warehouse to see if adam was dead yet. i'm so glad adam is alive, but i'm so upset right now, i fear that i might be slipping back into being depressed again... i really don't know what to do... help?   -- Posted by princess timz at 11:04 pm on Nov. 17, 2008 Just think that he survived & made it back to you. -- Posted by cutie2 at 4:42 pm on Nov. 18, 2008 Nobody deserves that. Dressing a certain way doesn't make you less of a human being. Beating someone for it does. Anybody whose close friend went through that would find themselves pretty affected. I would be more than shaken up, I'd probably need therapy for the rest of my life :S Anyway, perhaps talking to a therapist would help you handle your feelings about this. Aside from that, talk to Adam and make sure he knows you're his friend and there for him. I can't believe this stuff happens.
