-- Posted by cafinecrazedkid at 12:05 pm on Nov. 18, 2008 i was with a girl(high school senior) for three years, from the summer after 8th grade up until the beginning of this school year(high school junior). these three years were the most amazing i've ever had, but they were at the same time the most agonizing. my ex has been through anorexia nervosa, and had to go to a bunch of professionals, like nutritionists, psychiatrists, and a regular doctor who specialized in these kind of situations. i was by her side the entire time, lending the support and understanding she was looking for that she couldn't find in her parents friends or professionals. she told me herself that if i hadn't been there she probably would've died. there's just one problem, i'm the only boyfriend she'd every had, and she wanted to be sure we were in love, so we agreed, before she graduated from high school, we'd take a break. something like a test, to see if what she thought was love really was. and so it happened. at the beginning of this school year she started liking another boy from a different school, and she decided it was time to take the break, she left me, and started dating this new boy. it's been almost two months, and she ended the relationship. she broke up with him today as a matter of fact. we had always planned on getting back together, but is now the right time? i want her to really know what it's like to be apart from me, to know she can get along without me, but i don't think i can do that myself, i can't get my head around her, i can't be happy without her. i want her back so badly, but i don't want to act to irrationally about it. should i take her back as soon as i can? or should i wait? -- Posted by phoenix7356 at 12:17 pm on Nov. 18, 2008 well, at least give it a week, shes probably still a little sore from the break up. -- Posted by Bobster the Lobster at 12:20 pm on Nov. 18, 2008 To be honest I wouldn't take her back. She waited till she found some one else to date, THEN decided you two should take the break.  She probably fucked him too.  I wouldn't take her back. Just me though.
