I don't exactly know how to define "dating" since they aren't the kind of couple that makes out in the hallway at every moment LIKE SOME COUPLES DO. But they were boyfriend/girlfriend none the less. Today I found out they broke up. I couldn't help but feel a little happy about it, because the girl was among one of the few I was considering asking to senior ball (yes, I know it's a bit far away, but I can still make plans, no?). But obviously I couldn't ask her unless she broke up with the guy. So now I can. And that makes me happy. But also kinda weird. Ok then... good luck with that. Keep in mind that I'm friends with both of them. They've been friends with each other before they were dating. And they're still friends after breaking up. Also I don't consider asking someone to senior ball the same thing as asking someone out on a date.
