Ok... so I'm applying to transfer college. There are two applications I deal with: BU, and the common app. The common app has me write a 200 word essay on why I want to transfer. The BU app has me write a 2000 character essay (including spaces) on why I want to transfer. The essay I've already written for the common app has 1600 characters. Should I just recycle the essay I've already written or should I write a new one on all the same shit I already talked about?

write a new essay on all the same shit you talked about. The reason is because your writing style will have changed a little and you don't want to give them an old essay, it just usually wrks out better that way. Cause I have heard people who did this and were good writers, but it was their essay that killed it for them

It's a pretty informal essay... there's a little box in the application that you're supposed to fill out. And I literally JUST wrote the other one.
