-- Posted by greatescape at 11:53 am on Nov. 19, 2008 It has come to my attention that there is a very serious case of discrimination going on here on LW.  This is very disturbing to me, as I have always thought this to be a site that solely promotes kindness and tolerance towards others. In an effort to recitify the situation, I am making a public service announcement in the Race & Ethnicity forum.  I feel that this is the best way to resolve the problem, since everyone knows that this forum is full of mature discussion about race issues, and contains no stereotyping or bias whatsoever. So good people of LW.  This was recently posted on David's WB: I am shocked and outraged.  How could we have neglected the vampires of this site, and allowed for such blatant [strikeout]racism[/strikeout] undeadism to occur?!!? Prompt action must be taken. Suggestions. *Create a whole new forum dedicated to the discussion of Vampires. *Make the Twighlight series a prerequisite for membership here. *Promote all members with the word "vampire" in their username to mods immediately.  This will ensure equality is upheld. *The use of the word "garlic" will now be considered 'encouraging harm', no matter what context it is used in.
