Hi, I haven't been on the boards for a while but i'm really in a screwed up situation and could use some help! Here's my story:

Ok, basicly I found that one girl that I believe is truly for me, highschool sweathearts and all, I was and am still so in love with her. Things got complicated when school finished, she wants to stay in Costa Rica and study medicine and I have to go to the Philippines (on the other side of the world)  and run a website design company with my brother while I study computer science.
Everything was perfect until I told her about my plans, she became so cold and just ignored my needs. We got into a fight, she told me that she would forget me as soon as I left...make a long story short, I ended up getting drunk and made out with a another girl, next morning I called her and was honest and she dumped me.

I was always there for her and always fought to keep it together but in a moment of weakness i screwed it up, she forgave me. But said that the reason she dumped me was because I was leaving and she didn't want to be with me anymore...since I became temporary. I was so hurt, I never talked to her again, it's been the longest and loneliest 3 months of my life.

Not much of a choice is there anymore ? She dumped you. What else can you do? You're halfway around the world and sadly its most likely shes been looking on another man . Move on, respect her for her decision.

So my ex became jealous and just really hurt and one day she started bursting in tears, I still love her, and I know she is for me, and I know that the world wouldn't keep me from seeing her again.

well go where your feelings take you bro. Its common sense. If this other girl fell in love with you, does she know that you're in a relationship?
Do you love her so much that you'd break your current one just to get with her?

-- Posted by Enishi at 9:30 pm on Nov. 19, 2008

So what I want to know is... should I try to be with the girl that I love but can't have...or should I take the girl that I like and can have.

If its really impossible that you cant have the girl you love.. Then it might seem that she isnt for you. So go with the girl you like and "can have"

I am not in any relationship, I'm deciding between my ex and this new girl..my ex's best friend.

Sounds like you don't really have a choice to choose from!

I do have a choice...but I know that i can go back to my ex, she is dying to have me back..but I don't want the new girl to get hurt

-- Posted by Enishi at 9:36 pm on Nov. 19, 2008

Or if I go to the new girl..it'll kill my ex

if shes so dying to have you back , why she dump you --?
Anyways Its ALL about how you feel. You cant let others choose for you. IF so, it'd be the most concrete answer "the new girl"

She dumped me outa pure impulse. I understand that the new girl is the best opcion...but I don't love her, I love the ex.
