Other than close friends & family. I can't sit in a hall and eat food, or at family gatherings or anything. When I eat around people I don't know I feel like they're judging me, thinking I'm greedy and fat for eating, even if they're eating too. Does anyone else experience anything like this?

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

When I was in high school I was like that. I felt fat everytime someone watched me eat. When we got a new coach for the weightlifting team, he would sit with me and eat lunch with my, because he thought that I was anorexic. I was dropping 5lbs a week, and it was worrying him. After a while, I just got use to eating in front of people. Now I have no problem with it.

No...but my friend is like that and she has major anxiety issues. You should probably speak to someone about that.

I used to be like that. Its just a self confidence thing. Do it anyway; you'll get used to it.

I used to. Then I was like "Fuck them, they don't know that this isn't the first time I've eaten in days."

Hmm, I can definitely see where you are coming from. I used to have a bit of a problem with it myself. What helped me was realizing that other people feel the same way, or have other things they are insecure about, so they are more concentrated on that then thinking "oh, she shouldn't be eating." I realized I don't look around at people and zero in on something they are insecure about, so chances are they don't either. Also, it just takes some getting used to. Maybe start with eating some salads, or something similar, if that makes you feel better?
