During high school, I had to do 30 hours per year. I had to do a total of 120 hours.

Tight.
I'm taking 17.25. Almost 18.

And I'm taking Macro Economics next semester, too.
I did really well in high school economics (which is macro). I'm hoping it's similar just more in depth because it was interesting and made you think. It all makes sense, too.

I'm excited. These are my classes.

English 1A
Spanish 3
Biology (field studies small 1 unit lab class)
Macro Economics
Math 8 (college algebra prep for calculus)

FUCK MY LIFE!

last spring i took 19 and this fall i'm taking 18.  Luckily I only have 15 next spring.

Two of these classes are Differential Equations and Calc-Based Physics II.

haven't taken macro but took microeconomics, it wasn't hard, just kind of boring unless you're into accounting, business, etc.

You can take a quarter of a credit? How the hell does that work?

No Economics for me. I took it in high school, sucked at it...and now I'm staying away from it for as long as I can.

And I'm either taking 17 or 19 hours next semester

Actually what happened is that I have another class called spanish lab. It's .25 credits that doesn't count for anything, but counts for credit. It shows the teacher that you actually did extra time in a special room designed specifically for spanish material. (homework, movies, youtube videos but must be in spanish)

It's pretty cool, and you have to do an hour a week or 16 hours during the semester, so I just do my homework for each chapter in there and watch a movie every other week (like finding nemo, madagascar etc..) and it adds up really quickly.  For this semester, I'm in spanish 2 and I have 32 hours lab (and I only need 16 hours with still 4 weeks to go), So I'm in good standing.
