Okay. I won't die. But I'll feel pretty close.

I work five days next week - all eight hour shifts.
Then I work six days a week, eight hours a day.
Until February.

It might not seem like a lot to you, but that's at least twice as much as I've ever worked in a week. I'm already struggling for time to see my friend and boyfriend at all.
My anxiety is going to through the roof. I can count on exhaustion and panic attacks at least twice a week.

Not good.
And not worth the eight dollars an hour I get paid.

Holidays fucking SUCKS.

Why do yuou have to work so much? That sucks. I just got done working 7 days in a row, 8 hr shifts everyday.. I'm tired, but definately need two days off between working days, it's too much, you'll get burned out. Costco kicks my ass, I'm tired everyday after work. Plus school.... it's hard. So I know what you mean, girl.

I swear I think the people that come to Costco don't have jobs anymore it's like Does anyone ever work anymore around here?  So many damn people, go away customers!

That sucks. 24 hour shift.. damn.
My boyfriend's in the army and he's at work now. He works 12 hour shifts though. 7pm to 8am, well 13 hours.. and he's so tired when he comes home. Sucks though, it's hard for him to sleep during the day. Oh well.. that's the life.

Rough. I haven't really had a day off since August.  Even though I only work 2 9-hour days, 1 8-hour day, and a 5-hour day, I have a full load of college credits to keep up with as well 4 days a week.  I tend to really only sleep at my house.
But just think of it this way, that sixth day you're working, you're getting paid $12 an hour, unless your state has some kind of overtime workaround.

Can't.
We can't afford to hire anyone new because of the economy.
I can't afford to quit because I'm the only one in my house making money. And the economy.

i kinda dig my jobs so its not too bad, the two 16 hour shifts used to be overnight, but they switched me to day times and on call nights because i'm the only person with the appropriate certfication

For me, when i have down time at work i occupy myself with things like changing out the drug bags and restocking units, i found the more work i can occupy myself with the quicker the shift goes by, i decided to take an online physics class for shits and giggles so that helps the shift go by as well
