Hi there, I'm a guy, 19 and I've been working out a bit. Like I guess I'm kinda skinny fat...so I've been doin exercises like ab plank, lunges, push-ups, just to build a little bit of muscle so things smooth out...are there any other body weight exercises that are really good for the chest and stomach (abs)? I think I'm feeling some results but I'd like something a bit more faster? Hopeful thinking.

I was told though that cardio isn't very helpful if you're trying to build up some muscle...

its not, but if you run while trying to build muscle, yu lose the fat that hides muscle so it accentuates it more

I'm not at that point I think...I'd like to build a little first and then slim down cause I might like what I look like with just that added muscle.
