The Cressida (This car: http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/5344/cara5ln0.jpg ) is going up for sale ($1300 if you live in Vancouver, lulz) because I'mma starting a new project.

I shall take a 19__  ________ _________ [left blank on purpose] and attempt to build it for under $1000 total. After a year. The purchase price of the vehicle is $800, and I'm picking it up tomorrow. At which point I will take pictures and post a new topic about it. I love it. Eric (if he still posts here) is going to hate how dirty it is, lulz.

Hints:
-It's rattlecanned black
-It's a 4 speed stick shift
-No radio or speakers
-Ducktaped dashboard
-It is made of epic win and awesome

Basically I'm going to pimp my ride with free stuff I find on the side of the road and it's going to be epic. I'm also going to silicone shit to it and my artsy friends are going to paint shit on it.

So say farewell to Melissa everyone.

Uh, it's leaving on Sunday, actually. But you're right, it's for $1250.

It has no heat. I'm fucking cold, my windows wont defrost, and I can't dry the car out when the rain comes in through the window.

And a heater core replacement is $700 labor and I can't do it myself because it involves removing the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, center console, etc.

why can't you do that? it all involves simple tools!

depending on where you are in the BC, I know people who might be able to help.

Because it's 7 hours labor the an experienced mechanic

That's at least double for me. And seeming as I work and go to school, it's probably like 2 weeks, in the cold, wet, Vancouver weather, with no garage.
