Since we're getting 30 000 topics a day on this, I'm making a temporary sticky to clear them up. What did you think of the movie? Likes, dislikes, inconsistencies, etc. What was better, the book or the movie? Share it all here. If you're so inclined, you can even write a review for those who have yet to see it, so they can know what their getting into. FP

Twilight was a horrible book, a worse movie, and vampires have been defaced by this atrocity that somehow passes for literature and film.

I don't give a shit about it.

The movie sucked to high heaven the books are better and should have stayed that way. Even the partly leaked book is good.

Have you read the book? Have you seen the movie? If you haven't, you can't judge something based off of what other people have said. And I'm not defending either 'cause I haven't seen the movie, and the book isn't of a great interest to me. But I just see a lot of immediate bashing, and it's like, "Yo..chill out"

I never read the books.. But my friends really wanted to go see it, i had nothing better to do, so i went.. Thinking it wasnt going to be that great. OMG. A MAD HOUSE. It was soo crowded. Overall, i thought the movie was pretty good.. Not going to read the books.. but i liked the movie.. it was a cute, romantic film, and i would reccommend it.

I'm waiting for Breaking Dawn so David Cronenberg can do the "DEATH BABY" scene.

I gave it a 2/5, I mean some parts (like the action parts) were entertaining. It was okay.

The movie was better than the book. Which is kind of like saying that eating mud is better than eating shit. The movie itself...unintentionally hilarious. I was turning purple from suppressed laughter. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how something this bad could actually get greenlighted. It just didn't work on so many levels, hilariously so, and while it did have its good points, I'll further my metaphor by saying it was like finding some cubic zirconia in a mud pie.

I don't see what all the hype is over this bullshit. I've never herd of it before. Just from seeing the trailers alone I could tell that the movie was going to be terrible. Shitty acting, and just shitty in general.

Shitty, but full of lulz. If anyone's interested, Cleolinda on LiveJournal did a m15m parody of the movie http://community.livejournal.com/m15m/19551.html" target="_top">here and it's lolarious and fairly accurate.

Ok, reading the book to a movie almost always makes the movie disappointing, but I'm pretty sure whether or not you read the book, this movie is gonna suck nutsack for you, people [who're considering watching it]. Shit is lame as hell. Vampires are cool. Not Twilight the movie. I'M A VAMPIRE, OOOO. I SUCK DIC--er, BLOOD. WOOO. LES FIGHT! eat it. and gtfo.

So you'd love to have a boyfriend that broke into your room every night to smell you and watch you sleep without you knowing? And then when you were finally together, you'd love to have a boyfriend who would take the engine out of your car to prevent you from going to see your friends?

i loved it! and i've read the book. the actors protrayed the characters well :)

I loved the detail in the book. It was amazing. The movie was disappointing at first. I thought the casting was just, a huge failure, but when the movie came out, it pulled through. Yes, the book and the movie are different. Of course.. most of them are like that, but oh well. I loved the book, and the movie. A ton. I feel as if Edward and Bella were shy, stiff, pensive characters that I, myself, portrayed them to be. And yes, the vampires play baseball.

Shitty acting, and just shitty in general.
I happened to think the acting was brilliant. Kristen and Rob had the greatest of chemistry. I wasn't fond of the actor playing Jacob, nor the actor playing Rosalie, but the rest of the characters, expecially Carlise, were exactly as I predicted. I give it an 8 out of ten. Deduct a point for length, and a point for bad music choice.
