My fiance of 5 years is a great guy, he really is. But he's had to appeal for financial aid once already in college and I'm afraid he'll have to do it again, and this time he won't get it.

How can I convey to him that I love him and am worried without sounding overbearing? I really just want to go up to him and say "Why can't you just do your papers and your homework? Just bullshit through it, what does it fucking matter anyway, these aren't classes you even want to take." But I know that just won't work. I mean, I'm loosing sleep over the issue now. I just don't want him to have to get a career with the military or police or something. It's dangerous and he doesn't want to do it and I don't want him to do it, but if he fails out, those are his best options.

What can I do?

You have to be there with him. I don't see what's wrong with telling him that, because it's how you truly feel. Yes,it might hurt him, but he needs to snap out of it and just fucking force himself.
