I am writing an essay on teen sex and the use of birth control methods. I need quotes from a couple of people who are willing to give me their first names and the state they are from (for the purposes of citing my source and making it sound credible)

What I need is to hear from 2 different kinds of sexually active teens: those who use condoms or birth control pills, and those who do not.

So, for those who do use birth control methods- do you feel comfortable getting them yourself. For example, do girls feel comfortable asking their parents to go to the doctor to get on the pill. Do you feel comfortable walking into a store and buying condoms.

For those who do not use any type of bc methods- why not? Is it because you do not feel comfortable doing the things above? Are they too expensive? Would you use them if they were available to you for free?

I use them and I feel comfortable buying them (I use condoms and the pill)

When I do, I use both... and tbh, I didn't go to any doctor for prescription   I have connections within the medical society if that's the way to put it, lol. I feel using both is the safest. Any more questions?

I am 18 years old, and I use birth control pills and condoms when I have them. I have never personally bought condoms from a store, (the guy usually has), but I would feel comfortable doing so. My step-grandmother is a nurse and gets my birth control pills for me, but I'm sure when I move out of my house I will also feel comfortable requiring my own pills.
