-- Posted by Anonymous at 7:38 pm on Nov. 23, 2008 do you ever find that you are constantly comparing yourself to celebrities...      because i find that i always do that and i always feel like there is something wrong with me..  i always wish that i was them. like the new one is Kristen Stewart from twilight. i just find myself getting obsessed with these people just because they are attractive or seem cool or whatever it may be..     and then i just search them on the Internet and then i get jealous. its just a pattern that runs in my life and i feel like i am so messed up because i do it. my friend recently told me that i am a lot like Bella from twilight. i am crazy clumsy, I've never had a boyfriend (I'm 17- Bella was the same way until she met Edward), I hate being cold and most of all.. Bella really does not see how great and pretty she is at all..    and everyone tells me I am gorgeous..    except I don't see it at all (just like her character)..   and it seems to me like boys definitely do NOT see it. whats wrong with me. You look at celebrities as people who you'd like to be and you'd like to look like. This is normal, especially in our time. You're just insecure, and your friend is right. You need to see yourself for the person you really are, which I'm sure is an amazing, beautiful person. If it helps, maybe you should refrain from looking at pictures of all these amazingly beautiful celebrities. You don't need to live up to that kind of expectation, you don't need to look like those celebrities to be a pretty, good person.
