I honestly have no idea how this happened. I was just browsing the internet as usual, when suddenly a new tab opened. it was a long file name from some dirty website, with a nasty picture. so i clicked out of it. only every time i did that or closed firefox, it would come back, and be a different picture ad for some porn site. I finally got rid of it by sing ccleaner, but im kinda afraid it might happen again, or there might be something on my computer. any idea what this is???

No. I'm the only one who uses this computer, and i don;t go to porn sites. What does this mean, I mean is something installed? I have spyware removers searching and my antivirus looking too.

Spyware? Download Ad-ware Free 2008, update it and then scan for spyware also try downloading Spybot search and destroy, update it and do a browser immunization and scan for spyware.. obv don't scan both at same time.. but spybot can clash with some anti virus... so yh.. like Norton.

I'm kind of against having more than one security program on your computer at once, so I guess you just have to get a REALLY good one, and make sure it's up to date. Norton gets jealous when you start using other security programs in front of him.
