where did hippies buy their clothes? Hippie attire from the sixties and the clothes of neo-hippies of today is different. All those clothes from back then seemed authentic now they just seem like tye-died shirts from the mall.

Yeah, stores... that was one of the trends then. It was mass manufactured just like the crap we wear now. If they didn't find what they liked there, a lot of them would make their own clothes.
