Advantages of Staying at Home: Free food, laundry, transportation It's the holidays Disadvantages of Staying at Home: The rules are kind of strict here at home I kind of dislike my family It's very boring, because I live in the middle of nowhere Advantages of Going I don't have to be with my family between Thanksgiving and Christmas There are some things that I want to do when I'm down there.  They can wait, but if I'm down there, I can do them now. I like my living area down there better than the one I have here. It's in a college town, so there are more things to do. I can drink while I'm down there.  There are no bars in the town where I live. Disadvantages of Going Potential for being bored, since there is no school going on, and a lot of the people in town are gone. I'm sure there are other downsides, but I can't think of them right now.
