Got what you meant then. Well... in the US, the FDA is actually rather very strict about foods and such. More strict than in China. But mistakes and stupid actions can cause great consequences. Your son will be fine. Continue the formula - US formula contains TRACE amounts of melamine that won't harm the baby. Formula in CHINA was lethally contaminated with melamine and cause a few infant deaths and hundreds of illnesses. THIS. it was just there. not even over here. chiiiiil mommies   -- Posted by MissPrixy07 at 8:13 pm on Nov. 28, 2008 The only thing I heard was that a long time ago Nestle sent minority countries formula to feed their babies with, and they didn't give them good water, so a lot of children died from drinking the formula because it had contaminated water in it. That's the last thing I heard about formula hurting babies, though.
