They didn't stretch too bad when she had her son, but she was lucky because she didn't get many stretch marks. You shouldn't get a stomach tattoo until after you have had your kids in case you get a road map on your belly like I did. And if your mother had stretch marks you're more likely to get them too. -- Posted by islandgirl at 3:54 pm on Nov. 30, 2008 If you are going to have kids, I wouldn't get a tattoo there. There may be some people that don't have a problem with it, but there is a pretty big chance that it wont look the same. (Actually its almost directly over my womb, and is a little fairy so it felt quite fitting to have it there.) My bump hasn't reached its full size yet but so far its not affected my tattoo. If it does mess up I'll have just have it covered over :)
