I used to be a psychology major and i started looking in my old, should of been sold books and realized that i fit the Schizoid personality disorder defintion to the T. I've always been really afraid of non family members and i've always kinda lived in my own delusions. I want sex but that would mean i'd have to "stick around". and the biggest is that i'm like permanantly stuck in my own head, and being forced to work with people gets me really nervous. i hope there's a way to fix this! maybe it's my diet...or something...

Didn't you know? We're all mad.

Some people just have better self-control than others.

No, you don't fit. It has nothing to do with being nervous of others.

We all have our quirks.

This is the problem with reading those books, you start reading them you're bound to find something that you can freak yourself out with. I doubt you have it but there is no harm in getting a professional opinion/diagnosis.

there is a big problem because when i went to see one it became this, then that, then this, and it's totally depressing but believable, and it's a struggle between those two.

Two disorders? Maybe you have a little mix of them both. I don't know, maybe you should talk with a new person. A good one will make things clear for you, not more complex!
