A new study, set for publication in the December issue of the journal Psychological Science, reveals that when a person feels physically clean, he or she cuts others more moral slack.

The findings add to past research that has shown a link between physical warmth and generosity as well as physical chill and social isolation. Other past research has shown that sins seem to nudge people to clean themselves, a phenomenon the researchers dubbed the "Macbeth effect" after the dramatized murderess who tried scrubbing her hands to clean off imaginary blood.

Sounds true.

But i have met many christians who are "clean" at home, yet they judge every body once they are out of church, typical hypocrites. lol so the study is FLAWED.

Nah... I'd disagree purely on the basis that I don't imagine a dirty tramp to look down on people or be judgemental... more layed back and stoned.

But tbh I didn't read the article lol

What type of clean?

I would consider a person who wakes up in the morning before doing anything first brush his/her teeth and take a shower and after exercising that is clean.  But the article is only talking about washing hands.  I assume everybody washes their hand before eating and after doing dirty work.

This means I am less judgmental than what LW members assume me to be.
