I'm tempted to get a siberian husky/german shepard but I'm curious as to speak with someone that has actually raised one of the two from a pup. Siberians have dominance issues a lot.  They also tend to be quite stubborn.  However, German Shepherds are typically easy to train..extremely easy.  They usually obey and only have dominance issues with inexperienced people. They are pretty much exact opposites so the outcome would be hard to tell.  I'd have to say checking out the litter would be the best option.  Don't go for the puppy that attacks everything that moves but also don't go for the one that doesn't even acknowledge your existance. -- Posted by RachLeigh13 at 3:58 pm on Dec. 2, 2008 You just need to make sure, from the get go, that you establish yourself as the dominant person. Start training them young and it will make things easier for you as the dog ages. Huskies and German Shepherds are active dogs. They need to be stimulated with activity.
