Im sure Ive seen that somewhere... That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Get a second dog to guide your dog that happens to be going blind. To OP: This hasn't happen to my puppy, thank god. (He's only 5 months old.) She is a 10 year old lab.  Cataracts happen with most animals, and come with age. That was here around the time we put her down. :(  She was a good ol' girl.
