The BBC has been forced to say sorry again - this time after TV star John Barrowman exposed himself during an online broadcast. The Torchwood and Doctor Who actor, one of the corporation's highest profile stars, revealed himself during an interview on Radio 1, it was reported. He was being interviewed on The Switch by presenters Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw which was being filmed for an online feature. After being prompted by the presenters the 41-year-old openly gay actor and singer exposed himself, the Evening Standard reported. The BBC said he had exposed himself on the programme, but said it was not visible to online viewers. Grimshaw said to him: "You're famous, we're told, for getting your willy out in interviews. Is this going to happen today? Should Annie be careful?" Barrowman asked: "Is the webcam on?" When he was told it was, he responded: "Alright. I'll get it out for you then, no problem." The stunt drew criticism because the show was aired at 8.15pm yesterday- pre-watershed. A spokeswoman for Radio One said: 'The YouTube video was taken down because it had overstepped the mark.' 'Executives had cleared the tape originally before it was posted.' Barrow issued his own apology, telling: 'I apologise for any offence I have caused.' 'I was joining in the light-hearted and fun banter of the show and went too far. 'I was wrong to do this and it will never happen again.' 'I really appreciate the great support I have received from the BBC over the last few years and would never intentionally do anything to undermine the integrity of the corporation.' It is the latest in a string of deceny rows to engulf the BBC. Last month Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand were criticised for leaving prank calls row on Andrew sachs answerphone. Brand quit his Radio 2 show, while Ross, who is reportedly paid £6 million a year by the BBC, held onto his job but was suspended for three months without pay. According to the newspaper, the BBC said Annie Mac had apologised at the end of the show. It said it had received no complaints about the show. o john lol

Peter Griffin once said something wise about this type of thing. "Without seeing his bare ass, it's just radio."
