AhHH I have meningitis! No, I doubt it. I do have some phobia where I think I always have a serious illness. But anyways, why does my neck hurt? What can I do to heal it?!

put a wash clothe in the microwave for like..25 secs. and put it on ur neck..it helps me!! lolz

The most common reason would be your pillow is not supporting your head properly.  I used to have the same problem until I bought a water pillow.  Also, worn out mattresses will put your body and neck in weird positions.

Other problems might be the way you sit in classes, work and the strain you put your neck and body in.   Next might be medical issues.  I would suggest that you start with the pillow.
