I swear, I've had to buy three pair of black ones already. Are there any tips to keeping tights from getting stupid little runs and tears?

Cut your toenails.

Trim nails. Put nail polish around any little snares to prevent further damage.

Clear nail varnish, before it ladders further

I need them too. For pantyhose, though. Try buying a thicker pair, maybe?

Always roll them down to the toe and then roll it up your leg. Check nails before putting them on. Buy more expensive/thicker ones, they last a hell of a lot longer

i was so confused... "running tights! wtf?"

Don't wear them? Don't pull on them too much. I really don't know, cause mine never run. But I would assume pulling them up to far would cause them to run.

I've heard that works. Usually I find its the cheaper tights that will get ladders. Wolford tights are expensive but really good quality and more comfortable.

Also, dead skin on your feet can cause runs and such, so either use lotion on your feet or using something to get rid of the dead skin may help as well

I clip my nails, buy expensive tights, and no, I don't pull on them. Maybe its the way I put them on.

No, I wear them under dresses and skirts so I won't freeze in the winter.

Do you have long legs? Maybe the tights aren't long enough. Hairspray stops them running more. Try a different brand.

That might be it! Yeah, I bought some new ones, they're okay so far but it's only been the first time I've worn them. If they start to do weird things, I'll try hairspray.

I went through so many tights before I realised my bloody legs were too long!

I suggest: - buying ones that are thicker. - no contact with any sharp object or the like - if they run, you're better off throwing them out
