Antisocial Personality Disorder is another word for a sociopath or a psychopath.

Alright first of all you have to define what a personality disorder is. A personality disorder is an axisII Diagnosis in the DSM, which means that it is a stable personality condition (it cannot be cured...only treated). It is marked by personality traits such as an intense fear of abandonment, paranoid delusions, dissassociations, unstable personal relationships, difficulty with anger management, impulsive behavior, chronic feelings of worthlessness, and suicidal/self-destructive behavior.

Antisocial is different in that it's most ditinguishable trait is a generally apathy concerning the feelings and emotions of other people. Basically, a person with APD is decietful, completely lacks remorse, is irresponsible, does not care at all about the well being or safety of others, and can be rather aggressive. There are similarities between the two but they certainly aren't the same

Instead of trying to self diagnose, go and see a professional its much more useful.
