-- Posted by Anonymous at 8:13 pm on Dec. 4, 2008 so my gf doesnt live in my city anymore ...because shes in the military....however...she comes in town often... and her parents house....is about 25 miles away from where i live... she can't drive to come get me ...(because she got a dui a while back....so theres issues w/ her insurance that she has always been telling me shes gonna fix...).... so everynight that shes in town i end up driving to her place... (my parents dont approve of me dating her...and wouldnt have her over to my place...so we always hangout there)... but do you think she should find a way to actually fix her thing so she can come get me......or at least give me gas money...or am i just being selfish????? -- Posted by asia lover at 8:14 pm on Dec. 4, 2008 No she is being an ass. She should contribute in the relationship in other ways... but in this situation, YOU'RE the one driving there. I mean, it's pretty stingy to divide up the money and "pay you back" for what you paid to visit her. I don't think she even realises that you see an imbalance. If I was in her position it wouldn't occur to me to offer and pay gas money. But separating the $$$ from the act of driving there is... stingy. OP I can understand where you're coming from though, if she never helps you out (or pays for other things).
