America becoming more evil and crazy.  It's by having more gay marriage.  What's immoral becoming legal.  Legalization of drugs and other evils.

It could pertain to an uprising on the basis of rights to public funded and civil services. Or it could be a broader term referring to a political shift to the left in a government.

An example of the latter: The election of Barack Obama signifies the climax of a growing liberal revolution in U.S. politics.

or in the case of the first: The results of Bolivia's 2002 presidential elections were over turned by a revolt staged in the lower class in the name of Nationalizing the oil economy.
