What would a number line look like with |5t+7|+8=17

I got not clue how to graph a number line for this. I KNOW i had a previous topic of the same stuff.  But there was a lot of confusion for me and i wanted to clear this up. Please only reply if you can help.

|5t + 7| = 9
5t + 7 = 9 (t = 2/5)
5t + 7 = -9 (t = -16/5)

so it'll be a dot over -16/5 and a dot over 2/5, since those are the only two values that satisfy the equation

|5t+7|+8=17
-8 -8

|5t+7|=9
from here it can be either
5t +7=9
5t=2
t=2/5
or
5t+7=-9
t=-16/5

it would just be those two points, unless you're doing an inequality
