81x25=2025

square root of 2025=???

???=answer

There's no such thing as the square root of a negative number, it's an imaginary number.

So you get i*i which would be i squared.

Its 1 AM FUCK MATH

-- Posted by The Wolfhound at 9:52 pm on Dec. 7, 2008

That would be

sqrt (-81) * sqrt (-25) = sqrt (81*25) = 9*5 = 25

Clear?

No, because sqrt of a negative is an imaginary!

College? You're kidding me, right? You're doing THIS in college? This is going to be easier than I thought...

-- Posted by JudeLaurence at 9:55 pm on Dec. 7, 2008

sqrt(-81) = 9i
sqrt(-25) = 5i
9i * 5i = 45i^2 = -45

sqrt(-81) = 9i
sqrt(-25) = 5i
9i * 5i = 45i^2 = -45

would it be 45i^2

-- Posted by JudeLaurence at 10:05 pm on Dec. 7, 2008

i is the sqrt(-1), so i^2 = -1.
