i told the school counselor my friend who is guy is annoying

and she was like, does he like you?

why does she assume just because he's a guy there's a love connection

she's the same one who said kids in honors classes are unfriendly

Because apparently a boy and a girl can NEVER be just friends, there always has to be something.
And yes, it'd piss me off.

Because sometimes guys who like you try too hard, or else they think they're flirting by "picking on you", but really they're just being annoying as hell.

This too, I have to be careful if I run into friends from school and my mom's around because if it's a boy she gets this humongous smile and I can see her going "ooooh" inside. For some reason it kills me every time. Older people seem to think you really can't JUST be friends.

Is it a requirement for all school counselors to be painfully stupid? It seems to be the norm.

Counselors are gay, they're good for fixing your grades and recommendations for shit, that's all.
