Rubber bands. Snap them against your wrists. Don't cut thought. Cutting's addicting, and a bitch.

damn it, i have to actually be serious. don't do it, look around you, you have a great family, and a good girlfriend. seek help, tell your parents how you are feeling, they will listen. it will only leave a scar and remind you of how you felt when you did it. listen to some music that cheers you up, watch a horror movie until you get scared senseless, do anything you have to to not think about it.

I'm recovering from drug use and I've found even talking about it helps a little. I told my guidance counselor (and by law she can't tell a soul) so, she helps me get my thoughts in order. She told me that I should replace the harmful action with something else. Basically cutting/doing drugs is just a way of coping and now a new method of coping has to be found. Maybe you could journal, exercise (endorphins), start a new hobbie... Hope that helps.

Don't cut. Just do something constructive. Either exercise, or listen to music. And if you need that pain on your wrist, do what the one person said and use a rubber band. It doesn't scar, there's not as much pain and such.
