My friend knows someone who got something stuck in his/her nose. Nobody removed the thing from that person's nose for some reason and it's been a long time. My friend says that this person is showing signs of retardation. How is that possible? Why do you think that is?

nose leads to the brain, which also explains why smells trigger memories, and why when you're sick and throw up you become repulsed towards the last thing you ate before you threw up
