here is my example : a) you can go to a bar and get drunk until you barf, in fact many clubs promote buying a certain number of bottles (bottle service) as bait to pay for a booth. Drinking is a socially accepted form of intoxication b) you go out with your friends you roll a few joints, or you stuff a few water bottles, flip on a lighter and smoke up. but wait... you can't smoke weed b/c it is illegal. so we do it anyway in our basements and backyards and we're high just the same. Getting high is not a socially accepted form of intoxication. I don't see how you can fully identify a stream of society around one type of substance while perfectly banning the other. In some cases alcohol can do more damage than weed. anyone have insight as to why : Drunk Donna is better off than High Helen (in the eyes of the law anyway) .

High is better, I think. I always get sick when I'm drunk.

In practically every case, actually.

My city doesn't really care, I've walked past cops while smoking a joint, and down busy streets. I also used to smoke outside bars and in bar patios and I was popular because I was quite generous. I'm not saying that's cool or anything but it is socially accepted a lot. Infact I feel stupid at times for risks I took but I was younger back then. for Maybe weed is more acceptable than booze in some cases because booze ruins a lot more lives. Drinking just isn't nearly as pleasant for most people. Me on the other hand I got tolerance and know my limits to drink without feeling too bad.

Yea its not as socially unacceptable as you make it out to be. I smoke in public with friends and we just go on with our normal days.

Alcohol is worse. Period. I don't do either, though :p

they're both stupid, unless if you're old enough to drink.

The age doesn't make a difference on the health factor, numbnuts. Alcohol sucks, weed is great...get it through your head

So alcohol is stupid when you are 20 years old and 364 days but it magically becomes all good over night? Awesome.

I'd still rather be high.
