I've drank and smoked before, and I've never heard that before. I can't count the number of times I've puked from smoking after drinking. It's pretty random though. While it's true weed can help you prevent throwing up, and I use it all the time for this very fact, it won't help you if it is causing it in the first place. To clarify, it is the actual act of smoking, not the weed itself.
