If I go to the hospital there will be at least a 4 hour wait (Sunday nights are always busy in the ER). I don't want to annoy my mum to fix them up either because she's tired and is trying to sleep. Except the scar will be wider. Mine is like a caterpiller on my leg instead of a thin line cos I went swimming and they broke but I just taped it up. If you can't make it, go to the drugstore and buy those at-home adhesive stitches. They do work really well. -- Posted by musefan at 11:41 pm on Dec. 13, 2008 go back to the ER, it can get infected fast unless you live in a setrile enviroment....infection can make you miss more school days/ work days which in that case i would hope for an infection -- Posted by nik1 at 1:02 am on Dec. 14, 2008 Depends on how much of a scar that is acceptable to you.  If you don't get it repaired you will definitely have a nasty scar.  I would suggest that you clean it real good, bandage it up and go to the doctor.
