How do you tell someone in your family that your depressed and you need help? I know I'm not getting better and I get worse everyday. Nobody even notices either. Maybe they do they just don't care or they don't say anything. I don't want to tell them because I'm afraid there going to think I want attention. Thats the last thing I want. I don't even socialize with people or go anywhere and if I ever do I want people to leave me the fuck alone. I think I have something more than just depression though, its really more than that. Something is really wrong with me.........

That doesn't sound like anything more than depression. And if you want people to notice, you're doing it for attention.

Yep. You state you don't want attention, and you're asking how to get attention. Brilliant.

So, I shouldn't tell them?

Go to the family member you connect best with and discuss it with them. When I was clinically depressed, I did this with my mother and she went with me to a psychologist to have meds perscribed.

The only reason I'm asking how to do this is because I'm going to kill myself if I don't get help and I don't know how to help myself, besides ending everything.
