There are signs of the global economy totally collapsing - I think the 30s depression might have been a piece of cake compared to this. Because the worlds economy has never ever been as global as this before. Just like with Global warming the media and economist are making way to much of it. This situation isn't even close to some of the economic meltdowns that have occured in the past. No need to get so worried about it. The thing is that because this is so global now - It will collapse economy after economy in a domino effect. The technology avaible today has made this world a small big apple - We're too affected by each others economies. Only people not affected are the people living ''primitive life.'' These bail outs are stupid, we are just letting the inevitable drag on. Let the inevitable happen NOW and new businesses will rise from the ashes of these big ones. Big companies are starting to fall left, right and centre (Woolworths, MFI is on its way out, all of the US motor industry, most of the rest of the motor trade), this leaves a lot of opportunities for my generation when we pick up the pieces. I'm already planning on possible future enterprises. It's the best thing that could possibly of happened, crashing at this moment. The only downside is that any potential landlords for my house for second year of my uni course may be reposessed, leaving me stranded half way through. My family is financially secure. Also, our province is actually BENEFITING in this time, rather than crippling.
