Do you think someone that has a Diploma in Restaurant Management, and 3.5 years as a service manager in a casual dining restaurant is quaified to be hired as a manager at Mcdonalds?

It wouldn't hurt but like pretty much everyone without any sort of degree can be a mc's manager.

Well if you look at job postings for the lowest level of manager which is shift manager, they want someone with a 2-year degree and restaurant experience.

oh definitely. i had a friend work there for around 7 months before she was promoted to shift runner and then she was going to take a manager's course or something before she left. she had no other related qualifications so i would think you'd be ok.
