Punahou School's Manti Te'o is the country's best high school LB.

He's got endless awards and recognitions now. He also lead Punahou to Hawaii's state championship and won. He's  Top 10 overall, 5-star recruit and was basically recruited by everyone from USC to Florida to Auburn to Notre Dame. He narrowed it down to USC, Notre Dame, BYU, Stanford and UCLA. He kills on the field. He's a good kid too.

What do you mean "who," I just explained it and even included a vid. I don't know what else you want.

Honestly, if he wants to become anybody as a linebacker in the NCAA, he should only have to choose between Ohio State, USC, and Penn State.

The three schools I just mentioned have all at one point or another been referred to as "Linebacker U."  Texas schools are highly overrated.

He hasn't chosen a school yet. USC is in his top 5 but the other two Big-10 schools aren't. I don't agree with a few of his choices but Stanford and UCLA do offer a good education and BYU favors his being Mormon.

Yeah, I'd hate for him to go to BYU though. Charlie Weis has been trying to recruit him hardcore too. It'd be cool if he went to USC because Punahou has more kids coming in each year than any other high school in the country so he could represent, and USC just picked up another good LB out of Kapolei High School in Hawaii as well.

He didn't choose USC or anyone yet. He's just down to his final 5.

Punahou does have talent but not always. This class was exceptional, they usually lose in the ILH to Saint Louis. This was their first state title in football. This year's offense definitely was sick though with Cayman Shutter (Hawaii), Dalton Hilliard (UCLA), Roby Toma (UCLA), Kimo Makaula (Hawaii), etc.

Seriously, though, the more I watch footage on Manti Te'o, the more I realize how good he really is. He's a straight beast.

haha I'm not sure about the record. They did dominate the state for quite some time, though. And they've put out a bunch of D1 QBs...Arceneaux, John Hao, Gesser, Timmy Chang, Jeremiah Masoli, etc. Definitely well known football school.
