so im a sophomore in high school and ive played basketball all my life. i was supposed to be on varsity this year but i dropped down to JV to get more clock. Now im playing more but i suck every single game its like i have no motivation. Im better than everyone on the team but i cant prove it. I went from varsity to 2nd string JV averaging 4 points. last year i averaged 13. After every single game and practice i come home and feel depressed cus i cant do shit on the court. last night we had a big game in front of the whole student body and it came down to the last shot. I missed it. then i got another chance. I got blocked. the ball went flying into the bleachers. i feel like i just wana give up. ALSO ive never ever kissed a girl before. I even talked to a girl for 5 months last year and we went out like 10 times but i was too scared to make a move. another girl (whose pretty slutty) tried to hookup with me but i was too stupid to realize it till afterwards. ive had like 10 other oppurtunities with girls but idk whats wrong with me FUCK ME

work out! if you get in hella good shape and become ripped, you'll obviously bring your A game, plus you'll have more confidence. plus, girls looove really hot-bodied athletes. looking good, feeling good and living good are all interconnected.

I'm sure your just in a slump right now. Nobody can practice and actually get worse at something. I play basketball too and there are times when you just don't play well. Our point guard was all conference last year, but couldn't hit a shot to save his life in the first 4 games. Trust me, things will turn around. just keep practicing and working hard in practice. the harder you work in practice, the more likely coach will move you up to varsity. Don't think about how you should be playing varsity, just do your best on JV and coach will see how well you are doing and might move you up. As far for the girl thing goes. its really not a big deal. I'm very popular in my school, I'm 17 and never kissed a girl either. If you think the time is right, then go for it. Otherwise don't just kiss some random slutty girl. if you are anything like me, then you want your first kiss to be with someone you really like
