http://jm-imports.co.uk/cardetails/nissan/skyline30a.html Its a 1995 Skyline R33. It doesn't have a top speed listed, just a shit loada mods, but honestly, with 550bhp how quick would you say it was?

To really know youd need more info. What kind of tranny, axle ratio, weight etc, but either way its gonna haul ass.

If its running 550bhp ... I'd guess a little less than 4 seconds 0-60 ?

Yeah, I reckon it'd be poking at 180 But then I'm no expert :p Just going by other cars and how much the fucker weighs

Assuming they haven't swapped the tranny, its going to max out around 180-195.

Why would it be bad if they swapped the tranny.. surely replacing it, or checking your transmission fluid whatever.. would help the preformance?

depends on the gearing...

It wouldn't be bad, just change the gear ratio's from stock to whatever they put in. The stock gear set is *theoretically* good up to around 194.

If you can honestly afford to buy And run that then you would know 550hp from a RB26 is nothing you can get up to 700hp with hardly anything spent on the engine. I would probably replace the Nismo intercooler with something desgined for race use so you can run at much higher boost. oh and your 0 to 60 time should be close to 3.5 sec with that set up atleast. RB26s are the easiest and cheapest engine to modify on the planet with the biggest aftermarket by far.

Runs around a 10 sec quarter.

It's a GTR for god's sake. So of course it will go fast! I would say it's a 10-second car, slowest, for sure.

More than a Chevy 350?

I'd say anywhere between 150 and 180mph

twin gt2530s arent very big turbos at all. That car is making around 380-410whp TOPS. With a good driver it is a 3.6 to 3.9 second car to 60 and should be able to go mid to low 11s in the quarter mile and trap around 120ish. Top speed completely is a reflection upon gearing and aerodynamics (neither of which can be used to their full potential without power). Turbo cars tend to run out of steam and dont "breathe" nearly as well as v8/v10s up top so that is going to be a major limiting factor. Pending gearing, that car will go above 160 (REAL 160mph not the BS you see on your speedo. If you have ever done a top speed run with a GPS you will see JUST how far off your speedo is above 100mph. Your speedometer is designed to read 1:1 at 60mph. It can be up to 15% high after 100mph and is 30%+ high over 150mph) On top of the turbo running out of steam up top, awd drivetrain loss plays a HUGE roll. Very few turbo/awd cars go much above 160mph without LOTS of power. 911tt's are an exception. Any chevy/ ford crate engine (5.0/lsx, etc) have a FAR cheaper/affordable aftermarket than the RB and hondas and the (k20/24/b16/18) scene is far less expensive as well. The RB series are actually amoung the MOST expensive to maintain and aftermarket is not that strong state side because we simply didnt recieve the cars here.
