No, I never actually would do it. But a lot of the time I just fantasize about how people would react, or how people would squeeze my hand as I lay on my death bed and apologized through my tears in critical condition.

I cannot believe that I am actually telling this to someone, that I do this. But does anyone else think about it, as well?

I've wondered but I don't fantasize about it. It makes me depressed.

No, it's normal to think about what you would leave behind. I'm sure most people have at some point.

-- Posted by major at 12:16 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

you just want people to pay attention and realize what they've missed out on aka the wonderfulness of you

-- Posted by pindalay at 12:16 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

I always wonder how people would feel or what they'd do if I died.
Not always if I committed suicide, but sometimes...

-- Posted by The Last Magister at 12:16 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

I fantasize about it all the time.

Everytime no one really cares.

I've wondered but I don't fantasize about it. It makes me depressed.

I find such a deep satisfaction in it... it calms me down.

I've thought about that, more often than I'd like to admit actually.

-- Posted by verl mcverl at 12:17 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

i've wondered once or twice... then I snap out of it...

Oh God, I think I'm a piece of shit. But you're right with part of that; I want certain things to become realized, like relationships that I was too afraid to hold on to etc.

-- Posted by Googoie at 12:17 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

I've done it before.

-- Posted by Dev95 at 12:28 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

i always wonder what would happen if i died

-- Posted by Colleen35 at 3:25 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

I wouldn't use the word fantasize, but imagining it seems fairly normal...I've done similar things.  I wouldn't dwell on it too long, because it's probably not all that good for your peace of mind.

-- Posted by Raging Inferno at 3:59 pm on Dec. 23, 2008

I actually do it a lot.

-- Posted by googlefish at 2:06 pm on Dec. 24, 2008

i do all the time, kinda like it. but would never.

-- Posted by theyareAs at 2:23 pm on Dec. 24, 2008

I think that every person wonders how their death would affect their loved ones, me included

-- Posted by RAGEMAN at 2:44 pm on Dec. 24, 2008

I used to, but it's a frivolous thought and hurts any peace you are feeling.

It's "normal" though to have done it before. It isn't healthy or productive to your mental well-being to do it.

-- Posted by PewPew at 3:14 pm on Dec. 24, 2008

I've done it before.

I do all the time.
