Nearly makes me laugh now to see all that happened was *rewind* and *play* I spend the night crying, lying awake, wondering. I cannot eat the next day, I search for something to hold me over, something I can hold down. I drag myself to the dresser, I stare in the mirror. How obvious is it that this girl spent the previous night in blood and tears? I force a smile on my face to keep misery from those who may not understand. Busy halls, blank faces. Once face, I cannot find. You spent the previous night laughing, writing, smiling about her. The next day you wake up, still smiling. You rush to the mirror and stare. How obvious is it that you broke a girl's heart just 12 hours previous? The world knows it, they see it. You laugh, still thinking of this month's flavor. You don not show your face in these crowded halls, why? Were you suddenly ashamed? Did it finally hit you?
