-- Posted by bananawhore at 9:55 pm on Dec. 24, 2008 I went to a new therapist today, and obviously, i need to get wamred up to her, but at some point, I will need to admit as to whether or not I have been feeling suicidal what she would do if she knew that i think about suicide everyday, that i took a bottle of bleach from the laundrey room and stashed it somewhere in the garage to make sure its there in case i need it, or that I have a nonlegal will written up and hidden with the bleach. What you said is true. -- Posted by See Me Now at 10:00 pm on Dec. 24, 2008 She's going to help you dissect the feelings that make you want to die and hopefully get you past them. If she feels you are in serious and immediate danger of ending your life, or causing harm to yourself or others, she can commit you to a hospital on suicide watch. I wish you luck. I dont know what you are going threw and im not going to pry, but if u wish to talk you may PM me -- Posted by sadnessness at 12:02 pm on Dec. 25, 2008 Mine told my mum that "i was of no more than average risk for a depressed person, and therefore there is no need for her to be extra vigilant" So he basically told her to butt out because i said that her knowing would make it worse. My psychologist isnt allowed to tell anyone anything i say unless it severely endangers me or another child. My mum didnt need to know about my prozac... i just told the psych to tell her cos i was so sick of all the lies -- Posted by xxpsychoxx285xx at 5:22 pm on Dec. 26, 2008 i talk to my therapist about being suicidal all the time... he thinks that i'm perfectly sane. my dad also knows that i think about it a lot, i think he chooses to just pretend it's not there. anyway, my therapist seems to think i'm not at risk, although he did say... "i trust you to call me if you start thinking about seriously hurting yourself..." *rolls eyes* who's gonna call their therapist during the holidays? not me...
